Z-P
Whoa!Who said the rest of the way was a walk in the park  Ohio goes into Champaign and gets the Illini. Redturds are playing well (last weeks' game), Toledo is now pissed..............U know who, east of us, is a juggernaught, Wolfe gets 25?What a crazy year.............We'd better be good and ready for next Saturday...........good thing is turds are coming off a short week...............bad thing is they only have Buffalo to get past tonite.Good test the rest of the way for the staff..............we're going to see if they got famous before they got good ................wakeup call for the younger players...........quick taste of what can happen in the MAC for the energetic newer posters on the board.........I'm thinking the team took too many bows in the offseason in lieu of squats and crunchsGo Zips! I want turd blood on the turf Saturday! I still hate those a-holes.
fear the brown roo
there is no team in the mac i hate more than those assholes from miami. to me, a win over them salvages the season, in part.
zipboy
Regardless of the season, Miami is still Miami. We could be 0-6 and this would still be a big game. I hope the players have as much hatred for Miami as we do.
wadscarman
i can't agree with everyone any more. i hope this team is geared up for this week and the remainder of the seaon. remember last year, this same week, army came in here 0-4 !!!! go zips !!!!!!! Z-P
Save you the trouble.........You know who posted 20,212 attendance. Can we do the same?Turds won too, 38-31.............but it looked like a close game by the box score. Does that mean they are two bad teams, or does than mean Buffalo can play with anyone? We'll see..............
RowdyZip
How does one score 38 points with only 250 yds from scrimmage? this wouldve been curious to watch. 69 points and less than 550 yds between the teams.
Z-Pouch
Save you the trouble.........You know who posted 20,212 attendance. Can we do the same? From what I hear "posted" is the correct term. I talked with several people at that game and asked about attendance - They answered 13k-15k at most and stated that the game was not even close to the UA game. Now that attendance is about "posting" a ticket sales number rather then butts in the seats, I think you'll see plenty more of this.
fear the brown roo
and we'll do no more than 8,000 for miami, if we're lucky.
Balki Bartokomous
Outside of all the people tailgating there might be an additional 120 people show up to the game. terry schiavo had better fan support than the Zips do.

RowdyZip
8000 posted or 8000 actual? I'm goin 8000 posted with about 4000 actual. 3200 miami fans.and i'll still be there at 11am. and it's gonna be cold so our tgate will have the spiced cider heated up GIANT crocks. WOO, i cant wait already. anyone remember a couple years ago when miami was last at the rubber bowl some of there fans showed up waaay early in an RV with a flag on it. except it was upside down and bared a striking resemblence to a wisconsin flag...we got quite a few laughs out of that one...maybe it was the beer.go zips, cant wait for saturday! Z-Pouch
If we sold 16001 for North Texas, I'm sure that Miami will be able to come close to that figure. The weather will play a huge part again in the number of people who actually show up. It's unbelieveably only the second home game - people still got to have a little tailgate and Zip football fever left in them- and the Zips will prove to be 2nd best in the East by year's end. My guess is 12-14k.

Ballingirl
With is only being the 2nd home game this season, I'm putting my number in as 11k. And 7,500 will be Akron fans. If this proves to be as good of a game as I am expecting, I better see all the fans on their feet cheering when the Zips bring it! If not, I am going to personally kick all the "dead beats'" asses!
