ZachTheZip Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Mid-Major top 25 had us at #8 in the preseason poll. With our loss, we will most likely vanish from there unless we win big for our next couple of games. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 I've grown numb to disappointment. Quote
ziptrumpet87 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 bookies had us as 6 pt underdogs... we lost by 2. may not hurt as much as we think. Quote
Bleacher Bum Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 bookies had us as 6 pt underdogs... we lost by 2. may not hurt as much as we think.pinnaclesports.com had Akron as a 10 pt. favorite when the line opened. They ended a 6.5 favorite because people were probably betting UALR. They currently have us as a 15 pt favorite for tonight's game. Quote
zipseuph Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 how did Dials look? I was never impressed with him last year expecialy towards the end of the season Quote
Zipgrad1990 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 It certainly doesn't help our rankings when ALR is getting blown out by Texas Tech. I think the Zips would have made a better showing, but we will never know baring an NCAA tournament match up with TT. Of course its only half-time, maybe ALR will come back from the 28 point hole they have dug (yeah right!).At least the next mid-major poll isn't until Dec 4, so if we win all 3 of our games between now and then we shouldn't drop too much. zipsc Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 It's amazing how people do not do there research. UALR is picked #1 to win their conference!!! A conference that has western kentucky (who is very good). Quote
