ZipAlumn
The Beacon Journal now and then comes up with a pretty good article. Terry Pluto wrote this today about Dennsion and Tressel. I remember Jim Dennison, he was a good coach, but even more important, he was a CLASS ACT. I'm sorry Akron lost you, but you're doing great at Walsh. zip37
Agreed, Jim Dennnison is a class act, J. Tressel's father was all class also. As is Jim T,With ball ammunition lock and load.

Wally B
I think all of Akron loved Dennison. There was a huge backlash when he was let go for Faust that still lingers to this day. I think it was at that point that the team lost its' identity w/ the community, and we are just now getting it back.To the ol' JD and the new JD!go ZIPS

I know I used to have season tickets for football, and went to most of the basketball games. After they replaced Dennison with Faust I stopped donating to the University and quit going to games for several years. It was only the last couple of years that I started attending basketball games and this year bought season tickets for football. Even today I still hope that Dr. Muse rots in hell.
