Jalapeño Zippy
Hey, thanks for being specific! What the hell is dollar night? Another way to whore out athletics programs?
Randolph Duke
100 pennies gets you into the doubleheader at the JAR tonight/this afternoon. You can also spend 4 quarters to get a hot dog and 10 dimes to get a drink.I never thought I would see the day when NCAA Division I Basketball was 1/3 the cost of a CYO event. We be movin' on up!Pathetic.
ziptrumpet87
$1 is because it is supposed to be "Turn Back the Clock" night... how far back were the tickets $1... 1950??? Wonder if that means the team will be in throw-backs?
Randolph Duke
Posting from the Blackberry - NO ONE is here yet, typical late crowd, even for the women's game. Up 5 at halftime. The McCoy kid can bomb it out, only real D1 player on the roster.I predict 2,500 for tonight's men's action which means a whopping gate to help the budget.Dollar night = small timeSad. Randolph Duke
Zips pull away in the end... 6-5.50 cents already have bought a win and an over 500 mark for the first time in years this late in the season. Not much of a crowd here yet, let's see if my next two quarters are bringing a win.By the way, the dollar concessions are worth just that. My hot dog bun was soggy and the dog undercooked. What do I expect for a sawbone.

RowdyZip
pathetic crowd for dollar night. Gen admin was reasonably full on the sidelines. Ends were empty, including the "EXTRA SUPER DUPER SPECIAL SEATS USUALLY RESERVED FOR THE STUDENT CHEERING SECTION." maybe some advertising would help? I sure like how they pushed that "next game vs. #20 Nevada" a whole twice during the game.
