Will someone tell these Idiot YSU fans that we don't give a shit what they have to say. I don't care if by some freaking miracle they move to a BCS conference, go undefeated and win a National Championship. YSU will always suck. ALWAYS.Now go rob a liquor store or something. By the way, your football stadium looks like a glorified HS stadium. YSU High will always be a second rate program.
And buddy ole pal from the city 45 minutes away..... You can call us a high school all you want, but until you play us again, you will be the Junior High School----Why?YSU Beats Akron-1993YSU Beats Akron-1994YSU Beats Akron-1995Last game vs. Akron: 19953 Game Winning Streak for the glorified high schoolers.:D:D:D:D:D:D Play us again, then we will see who the real high school is..........I KIDI KID

I like the last photo of the YSU football field submitted by Equins. I think we can use it as a guide to make sure we get a first rate facility. I would weave blue and gold material into our chain link fence rather that the singe dark color they used and I suggest blue spruce rather than junipers. :puke:

Yes, we schedule Penn State, Ohio State, Indiana, Kentucky, but we don't schedule YSU because we are afraid of them.:lol::lol: Get a grip. By the way, here's the link to your own Web site. Maybe you should start posting more there than here.http://www.eguins.frihost.net/cms/index.phpSince your site lacks activity, I'll take that as a sign that no one cares about YSU sports. Pretty lonely over there, isn't it?You know, I used to be pretty indiferent to YSU until you started posting on here. My tendency is to dislike the school. However, better judgment tells me that not every Youngstown fan is as provoking or obnoxious as you.If you are looking to be a good-will ambassador and a promoter of your school, you are going about it in the wrong manner.

What I can't post my thoughts? Geeze what has America become 81?BTW: For the hundredth time: MY SITE IS BRAND NEW. I began it at the end of the season back in November. The other YSU message board is much more active, but it looks old: that is why I began eguins.Go read their thoughts over @ ysupenguins.com :screwks::chair::screwks::chair::screwks::chair::screwks: :chair:And PS: Your athletic director tried to schedule us this year to get people in the seats, we had a big NO to them, because our schedule was full and because we want a game at our place too. And I don't see why we cant. 15,000 at a 30000 seat Rubber Bowl. Or 20,000 at a 21,000 seat Stambaugh Stadium. What makes more since to you?

Listen you guys. I'm just busting your balls. It is hilarious to see you guys all upset. We are not obnoxious, trust me. I am sorry to paint YSU fans that way too, again I am just messing with you guys. We are passionate about our team and our town, that is all.If you want to see arrogance at its finest. Head down to Stateboro, GA and visit Georgia Southern University. Those fans are HORRIBLE, trust me from experience. They threw food at YSU fans at the 99 title game and called us every name in the book.

I'm definitely buying season tickets - probably 4. I always try to take some friends with me to the games, but I don't have enough cash to afford a box. So it'll probably be 4 season tickets.I'd like to see us start a tradition with Youngstown State. A lot of D-1 schools open with D-1AA schools (I know, those labels are outdated now.) If we'd open each year with Youngstown State I think it'd make for a nice rivalry with a good crowd, and give our team a warm-up game before we start playing the big boys. Other good D-1AA "scrimages" (no offense eguins) could be Illinois State, Indiana State or UMass. But they would all have to play in Akron every year. No way does a D-1 school travel to a D-1AA school anymore. That just doesn't happen; those days are over. The D-1AA has to make the trip each year. If Youngstown State wouldn't want that each year, I don't think it'd be too difficult to find a D-1AA school to come in.I know a lot of the Zipsnation disagree with me on this one. Many of the Nation only want to see D-1 schools scheduled. But there are a lot of BCS conference schools that open with D-1AA schools. Like I said, it's a good "break in" game before playing the big guys.

I have no connection to the university, and I live in a western suburb of Cleveland. With that being said, I would seriously consider purchasing season tickets. Yes, I am an OSU fan and Boston College fan, but I have always rooted for Akron as the most "local" team. I would love to be able to drive 50 minutes to a college football game on a college campus where I can take my kid, not get charged $75+ a ticket and see good quality football.

:thumb: cool...good for you all...everyone cries about a new place but when it comes to going to the games...i know the Bowl is a dump but to get only 12-15 thou even out there is ridiculous...especially since this is the most promising the program has been in 30 yrs...step up folks!
