Guzijeff Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Even though is took a little over an hour to get to the game after work (a normal 20 minute drive), and another 2 hours to clean the drive when I got home, it was WORTH every minute of it. Watching the Zips SMASH OU in front of 1,451 fans was more satisfying than the Can't sell-out. That small amount of people made some good noise. Quote
skip-zip Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I agree. Kudos to the Akron students for coming out. The harrassment of Bubba Walther was worth the price of admission alone. And the game wasn't too bad either. Go Zips!! Quote
FearTheRoo Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Great environment last night considering the conditions. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I didn't venture out. I chickened out and watched the game on t.v. But on t.v. the Rowdies looked GREAT!!! I was pleasantly SHOCKED at the # of people at the game! Wow, getting 1500 to the JAR in that blizzard - great job Zips fans!!! Quote
GoZips88 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Rowdies were awesome! Nice to see BOTH ends filled and BOTH involved in the game. Game was fun to watch and so were the AKs. Bubba says the heckling didn't bother him - NO freakin' way. He SUCKED and WAS hearing it. Quote
exexec Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 WOW, IF THE HECKLING DIDN'T BOTHER HIM WHAT EXCUSE COULD HE POSSIBLY HAVE FOR THAT PERFORMANCE???? Quote
OZoner Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 You didn't expect him to actually admit it, did you? Quote
