http://www.thehogs.net/Draft/exclusives/index.php?id=866"Two small school linemen made an impression as well; Missourri Southern State's Allan Barbre and Akron's Andy Alleman. Barbre posted the absolute best 40-time of all offensive linemen (4.84), Alleman the second best (4.91). Both proved that they move well and will now likely draw considerably more attention and looks from some NFL teams."

its to bad that with alleman doing so well at the combine that he cant move up to late 2nd round. alot of NFL teams need to get themselves some dominate, down right nasty guards who can open the holes for the Rb or keep their QB safe.. i would trust having alleman watch my blind side.

You know what ticks me off about this article? They refer to Akron and Missouri Southern State both as SMALL SCHOOLS.Missouri Southern State is Division IIAkron is I-AI can see them referring to us as a small school, if they are comparing us to Ohio State or something. But, when they are looking at us beside a Division II school, and call both of us small schools, it kinda irritates me.

Problem being that guards traditionally tend to fall on draft day. Its not usually a high priority position even if it is an area of need. Rarely will you ever see more than one guard taken in the first round and a lot of times you won't even see a guard taken in round 1. The best guards usually tend to go early to mid-round 2 and there is almost always some good talent left by the time you get to round 3 and 4. Not a knock on Andy or any other guard in the draft. Just the nature of the position when it comes to draft day.
