Thanks. Doug Doughty of the Roanoke VA Times had us at #24.I don't seem to remember getting votes from him during the season. It's sad to see that the guys who voted for us earlier forgot us just like the selection committee did. I blame marketing. We could have had a legitimate top-25 team on our hands last season, but it doesn't mean anything if nobody knows about it.

The NCAA field is 65, and the NIT is 32. Maybe we were the 98th best team this year even though we were on several AP voters Top 25.

I see the Zips finished number 10 in the final Mid-Major poll. Apparently all these polls and even the RPI don't mean anything though since the Zips didn't get any post season selections.

we should have been ranked higher, but oh well its the past. look for us to be ranked in the top 25 at least once next year. we have a very good returning core, and some very good additions coming in.
