Why would anyone want to sap that energy by chiding him about his spelling. He unveiled the bad character of Rick Boyages with his passionate letter after the Miami game debacle. I've never found his posts difficult to understand. And at the risk of breaching sanctimony for one thread, how about InTheZone considering removing his picture making light of the Can't State shootings. There's plenty of other images that convey UA's superiority without using murder as the prop.I certainly wouldn't call May 4, 1970 MURDER.... more like a bunch of hippies engaged in civil disobedience and rioting who crossed the line a little too far and paid a dear price...completely unlike the innocent victims of Virginia Tech. Those honorable National Guardsmen certainly were not murderers. I will however, even though I draw no comparison, out of respect for those VT students, take it down. But I do agree that timmyboy is a great contributor to the site. Luckily it seems like everything has now blown over and everyone is all good. InTheZone,Thanks for taking down the picture...I know you meant it in good fun, and I'm not usually one to play "P.C. Police"...but I didn't like the idea of making light of such a tragic event. Sure, those who burned down the ROTC building were wrong...and yes, many of the violent protesters were wrong. But for the National Guard to fire into a crowd of college kids and kill four innocent students...that was on a whole other level of wrong. Is it "gramatically", or "grammaticly"? You know, I had a professor who would highlight spelling and grammar errors on students' papers, and make them re-write before giving a grade on content. Ryno aka Menace Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 Hey, with all of this WR depth and speed, wouldn't it be nice to see some 5-Receiver sets from time to time? I don't think anyone in the MAC would be prepared to defend such a situation. That would be nice. especially with a QB that has the ability to run the ball, we could run the QB draw out of that formation as well as alot of other plays. Sometimes might be cool just to mix things up but, we are so deep at running back we need to have 2 on the field at a time. Especially if our O-line is as bad as we all suspect, the extra blocker in the backfield maybe absolutely necessary! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
skip-zip Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 With an inexperienced offensive line, running quick pass plays out of a 5-Receiver set makes the weakness of your offensive line virtually insignificant.
