Dr Z
Thanks D-man. I'm probably the only guy on this board that listens to that show. They interview about 5 people a day. I love listening to the players. There are two other shows on the NFL channel that are even better.PS Andy comes off very well (comparing to other interviews I have heard this year on sirius)John Higgins was my favorite interview this year. He is going to the pro bowl this year (according to him).
UAZipster0305
Hey Dan,Just out of curiousity, did your brother graduate? From the interview he seems very intelligent and capable of earning his degree while playing. However, I realize it's possible that continued training for the NFL took priority.I'd love to see all our players earn their degrees! He hasn't graduated yet, but in other interviews he's addressed that issue. When he transferred from Pitt to Akron, some of his credits didn't transfer with him. He is planning on finishing his degree, I believe he has one semster left. I have my DDS so I've been through the full 8 years of post-high school learning and I fully support his decision to take time off from school to focus, for now, on football. You are correct in your assesment of him...he is intelligent, and he also knows that a degree is very valuable.-DNA
skip-zip
I was not an athlete, but I did transfer from another college to Akron, so I know what it's like to try to graduate on time under those circumstances. So, I sympathize. I hope Andy goes as high as possible in the draft. He's a good kid, and the higher he goes, the more visibility he brings to the U of A.He's worked so hard to elevate his draft status. I really wish him well.
