There is a new depth chart at gozips.comWow, we are using a lot of young players. I think that bodes very well for the future. The o-line especially is very young. I am looking forward to see how some of these guys develop. We have some youth at nearly every position. This will be a great learning experience for these young guys. Having 2 B10 road games early in the season should be great experience for these guys.

Yes, it bodes well for the future. However, in D1 fb, the future is today. How many years am I going to hear the same stuff about the future. Let's get some players and get things going now. Yeah, I know I'm impatient, but you would be too if you have lived your entire life in NE Ohio.

Unfortunately I have lived my entire life in NE Ohio. There is noone that feels the pain more than I do.When you become numb to the heartbreak, it's a bad thing.

Thank you guys! :rock:Wow, two things jumped out at me on defense.1st, Nate can't even win the starting job at NT for what may be his last shot at impressing NFL scouts. I hope this is due to Pendleton playing extremely well. Or perhaps JD is trying one last "kick in the pants" to get him jump-started? Does anyone know if Nate is near 100% healthy? 2nd, I'm a little surprised that Chevin Pace beat out Brandon Anderson for the SS spot. We sure do have nice depth at LB and the secondary.

My observations....and questions....1) I'm also impressed at our depth at DB.2) Wasn't Casey Estrada pretty highly regarded when he came here? He's 3rd on the depth chart at his position.3) When will we see something out of Jason Sekinger, the transfer from Minnesota? He's HUGE, yet cannot yet crack the starting lineup at OL.4) Nice to see Fuqua win the stating spot at WR. He's going to have to fill the hole left by Harvey. I hope he can do that.5) What happened to Jared Cecchetti on the DL?6) Nate Robinson - thinks he's NFL talent, and still can't crack the starting lineup at a MAC school.7) Time for Chevin Pace to finally show us what he's got. I did expect Anderson to be the starter. 8) It will be fun to see Williams returning kickoffs.

Nate was the #1 ranked DT in the nation a few years back. Now, as a senior, he is beaten out by a Sophomore walkon. Nothing against Pendleton, I hope he does a fantastic job. However, this must be a tad embarrasing to Nate. Nate never had a serious injury or problem that stunted his development. Either he was the most over rated recruit in the history of college football, or there is a lot more that we don't know about.I am so looking forward to seeinng Ryan Bain play next year.I agree about Pace. When he was a freshman, he looked like he was going to be a star. He suffers from Dwayne LeFall syndrom. That is the disease you get of coming in and looking like a future star, but never getting any better. If Estrada is 3rd team, I hope he redshirts. If that is still possible.Sekinger was redshirted last year due to transfer. This is his first real season of elegibility. He is only a soph.Cechetti is injured. Should be back by week 4.

Fuqoua has the speed. And I don't think he played football until his junior or senior year of high school. Hopefully he is a late bloomer. Brandon Anderson not starting was my biggest surprise. Although I always thought Chevin was pretty good against the run game and weaker in coverage. Given Army will run all day, maybe it makes sense to start him.

Didn't Brandon Anderson play CB? It is surprising they switched him to safety. He looked good at CB his freshman year.

I know they've been using it since JD got here, but remind me again what the specific positions on the 3-3-5 are.
use the search button, you will find plenty on the 3-3-5.Igor beating Domonkos out is a minor surprise to me.At least it is a change. I hope Igor is 100% healthy.

where's alex allen?
from Razor's blog: Running back — Dennis Kennedy, then Bryan Williams. No love for Alex Allen or Andre Walker? Walker previously was the second-stringer. I figured Allen would be No. 2 after camp. He was very impressive. I have to think that Alex is going to get some carries this year.
