74ZIP
lets see what all the EXPERTS really know about the game...lets hear the scouting reports on what to look for from ARMY and the ZIPS on Saturday...if akron can control their defensive end...they have a good safety too... and run the ball right at Army...not to the perimeter and the Zips D can force Army to have to go to a drop back passing game the Zips have a chance...Army's QB is pretty big and the O line is decent...if the Zips let them run on 1st AND 2nd down and do not create TURNOVERS zips have no chance...ZIPS O will be sputtering and feeling their way...Army has to turn it over for the ZIPS to win... gozips19
amry is breaking in a brand new line and a has no talent at qb. they do have a nice running back but it will be very hard for them to move the ball. i saw your prediction and i have to say that you will be way off. army is not very good. Zipgrad01
Well, Army went back to the wishbone this year. When they aren't running the wishbone they will run a lot of formations with 2 and 3 tight ends and use them as blockers. So, winning this game is the team that.....1. Runs the ball effectively2. Stops the runSimple, but the truest evaluation of this game.
skip-zip
Sorry folks, but I have to admit, the game will probably be boring. Both teams will indeed be relying heavily on their running game.
Ryno aka Menace
Sorry folks, but I have to admit, the game will probably be boring. Both teams will indeed be relying heavily on their running game. well i hope not, I don't want a sub par crowd and a boring game on top of that. This should be a warm up game for a good showing in Columbus.
Buckzip
Just because it may be a running dominated game, doesn't mean it is boring.I like a 60 yard TD run as much as a 60 yard TD pass. Also, I think they count for the same number of points too. Well, that is as long as my team is the one scoring.
Zipmeister
Army scouting report: Army’s starting right tackle has a tendency to hold when opponents run a stunt. Starting tight end has a tell in his stance that I’m sure the Zips are aware of that gives away a run to his side of the field. The mid length pass will always be open if we overload one side of the field. Army may be one of the few teams we face this year with a kicking game as pathetic as ours. With the line at 5, take Akron and give the points.
johnnyzip84
Maybe the Army TE is getting confused with West Point's storied "lonely end" formation Bill Carpenter
