That's what I think anyway.
I was thinking that too.I've compared the pictures. The guy holding the wheel looks a little thick to be Jackson.I compared everything, even down to the clear face mask plastic. But now that someone else has said it, I think you may be right. Why do the Zips have two 7's?I'm surprised the conference allows that.

Most Qb's don't wear the gloves of db's or the forearm band. Too easy to lose the ball. A bad call by the bj in my opinion. I like where they put zips beat writer DLM's article. Looks like martin doesn't think the zips contributed at all to his teams loss.
yes, and all of what you said too.got to be careful!!!

Are you serious? Look at every roster in the country and you will find multiple numbers. They just can not be on the field at the same time. Akron has many multiple numbers as does every school in the country.

This is exactly why people won't post much anymore.

Ya know Sarg, I've been watching High School and college ball on and off for 30 years....I've never seen multiple numbers on a roster...and I saw a lot of rosters when I was doing play by play...

Here's another related interesting fact that I had not known until earlier this year: The NCAA does not have any limit on how many players a team can have on their team or roster. The only limits are for scholarships, travel squads, and apparently training camp. Before the start of this season, one of the papers in Honolulu mentioned that after the official end of camp, the University of Hawaii added several players to their team, bringing the total number to over a hundred.

duplicate numbers are given to players who are not likely to see a lot of game time. those players usually don't travel with the team so its only an issue for home games. as mentioned, players with the same number cannot be on the field at the same time. almost always the numbers are split between an offensive player and a defensive player. i'll give the abj a pass on this one. that's a perfectly understandable mistake.i never really thought about it much until i started reading what people said on this site, but they really do play up osu like they're the home team while akron and fkent get page 4 treatment. its ridiculous.
