InTheZone Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 Doing the calculation of Chris Jacquemain's passer rating after 6 games as our starting QB using the NFL formula (which most of us are more familiar with), CJ-11's rating comes out to an 87.79. Not bad for a guy in his first year of starting and working with a lot of new faces on offense.I think if we give Jac time, he's going to develop into a very good QB for us. I said back at the end of last fall when everyone was all over CJ-7 as being our next big thing that I thought Jacquemain was better and would end up winning the starting job. He's just got a cool, calm collectiveness about him that I think a good QB must have and he has leadership qualities that CJ-7 has never and will never posess. And oh yeah, he's got a pretty accurate arm as well.... much better than Luke Getsy's in my opinion. Give him some patience this year and I think by the end of the year you'll all agree with me. RACER Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 good point except for the fact jaq fumbles the ball a few times a game, and takes huge losses with sacks because he holds on to the ball to long.i have seen both players and my opinion (which means nothing like everyone else on this board) cj7 is the better qb.do you honestly think the other mac schools are worried about facing him?the only good point is i think we have two decent qb's that can win games for us.in that respect we are in a better posotion than other mac schools.
