akronad
Rece Davis is doing the play-by-play, with Lou Holtz and Mark May doing the analysis.
K-Roo
http://www.ohio.com/sports/11042351.html"The Ohio game will be televised on ESPN2 with Rece Davis doing the play-by-play and Lou Holtz and Mark May doing the the color analysis.''The positives are that we're going to be on ESPN2, but the negatives are multiple,'' Brookhart said about playing three games in 12 days. br30302004
I know it has been mentioned before, but this schedule is the worst if not the worst in the past 10 years. I am going to guess 6,000 or so in total attendance with the weather factor. OU usually travels well, but a Weds. night game with a so-so OU team will probably keep their fan base at home and watching on tv.
ZachTheZip
This is a must-win for OU. They still have something left to play for. Akron does not.I'm going to be in attendance because they are my team and I won't quit on them, even while they quit on themselves. They'll get an earful from me and other fans. They still have their pride as competitors to play for. No real competitor gives up just because things aren't going his way. This game will reveal who the real competitors on the team are. By Thursday we'll know which players are there to play the game, and which players are there to play only if they win. I want players that never say die, regardless of what people tell them. They shouldn't care if the season is ruined or if their own coaches have given up. They should still go out there and give it everything they have because they showed up to play, just like I will show up to cheer them on no matter what. Some players are capable of willing a team on to victory. That willpower is more important than athletic ability or size. It is second only to play execution, which comes directly from the willpower to complete the play. They better be fired up - especially the seniors who are putting on a show for NFL scouts on national television.

Z.I.P.
I would only request that someone take my place in waving the following sign before the ESPN cameras: WE LIKE YOU COACH BUT WE'VE HAD ENOUGHMahalo nui loa
johnnyzip84
I will be there and paying especially close attention to how much effort I see coming from the team. JD has to show me that he can be a motivator. This means having the ablility to get kids to perform, even when they don't necessarily want to perform. I hope he views it as a chance to see who really wants to play a bigger role next year. I'll be upset if I see the same level of effort we have witnessed the past 9 quarters. I'm not even taling about winning ot losing, although this is the most "winable" of the remaining games as I see it. I just want to see some John Mackey-like effort out of the whole team. RACER
when is the last time bg has won it's divison or gone to a bowl game? they are 5-4 this year with one of the wins against a 1-aa team. my only point is losing to bad teams like bg,temple, and buffalo is not the same as losing to indiana,u-conn,and ohio state.there is no excuse about how hard our schedule is when you lose to those teams.plus the zips had two weeks to prepare for buffalo.
