Akron vs. Portland State game thread

For those of us that are staying up to listen, here's the game thread. This game is a big one. Portland State is tough, and unless Akron has improved dramatically since yesterday, I am very worried. A win will help greatly with our SOS by putting us against a very good team instead of one that has been knocked out with a loss already. Ronnie Steward not playing is really hurting us. The injuries are mounting. This will be a tough test and will tell us just where we stand this year.

I'm just checking in...listening to the game over the internet from Pittsburgh. Staying up late even though I have to work in the morning.If PSU cools off with their three point shooting, we should be able to pull away.

i remember a couple of guys on their team from high school. dominguez is a baller. small guy but he has a lot of moves and a nice touch on the three. nelson i remember as well, but never seen him play. was one of the best in the city. hopefully we can pull out a nice run to start the second half with.

Good morning folks. I'm here, just barely. Tuned in just in time to hear Goddard hit 8 in a row. Makes me wonder if his defense is as improved as steve is saying. Time to get some toothpicks to prop the eyelids open, i'm used to working at 4am.
