Not as if anything is working well tonight, but I do think that our best frontcourt in the long run will be Wood/McKnight/Linhart. Quade is a bench player, always has been. And although Conyers has gotten better, I don't see him playing consistently in place of Linhart anytime soon, if ever. I liked seeing KD start that frontcourt, and give them some work together. We'll see that 3-man front quite a bit during conference play.

I am watching the video feed. Not really sure but the attendance looks ok to me.The team is not looking very good. It is a J-wood only show so far.
The Austin Peay broadcaster said the attendance looks better than expected although there are still probably more empty seats than full. The students are on break and the forecast is calling for snow. The Governors are doing a much better job on the defensive boards against the Zips this year and, surprisingly, Brandon Harriford and Thomas Janusaskus are seeing some playing time. Govs up 29-27 at the half and had three straight opportunities to extend a lead but did not. Still, I get the feeling the Zips could mount a good run and establish a sizeable lead. The Govs, however, have been a pretty good second half team. Should be a good second half.

Alright. This is the last game without the cavalry in the game. Good win for the Zips. These are the games we need to win and schedule, even though we didn't really schedule it. Play projected mid/low conference champs.

does anyone know when the two other guys can play.
Brett McKnight will play on Wednesday against NC A&T. That's all I've heard, but it is possible that we will get everyone back by monday for practice.

In the 70s or 80s APSU had a player named "Fly" Williams, and their well known cheer was:FLY'S OPEN--LET'S GO PEAY, really funny if you heard the whole arena yell it. :screwks:

Nice write-up from the AP website:http://www.apsugovernors.com/ViewArticle.d...DB_OEM_ID=16900Some interesting notes from the article:The loss marked the Govs first loss since the court was renamed Dave Loos Court.Todd Babington’s consecutive games with a three-point basket streak ended at 26 games. The Govs had season lows in three-point baskets made (2) and attempted (10).
