Akron Vs. Dayton

The opening line in vegas has the Zips getting 5.5. I find that to be showing a lot of respect to our Zips, especially considering the formerly undefeated #6 team in the country just went in there and lost by 25. Thoughts?Akron 68UD 74

Hmmm. Interesting.I guess they see that we are 10-2, and consider that it's a pretty good matchup. That 5.5 points is usually only about what you expect as part of the home court advantage. Or, maybe they feel that Dayton has been playing better than they really are. Like I said earlier, this game has suddenly emerged as a game in our OOC schedule that could actually get us some national publicity if we can win.

I'm hoping Dayton has a bad game and the Zips have a great game, but I don't think that will happen.I predict UD 80, UA 65. If the game was at the JAR I'd give the Zips a good chance of winning, but at Dayton virtually no chance. I hope I am wrong though!Did anyone see that Can't has now passed us in the Mid-major poll? Last week Akron was 9th and Can't 10th. This week Akron is still 9th but Can't is 8th. Can't has an even tougher matchup tomorrow - #1 and undefeated UNC. I wonder what the point spread is on that game?
