Not only have they torn down the residence halls for the stadium, but they are also beginning Carroll and Memorial. Happy happy joy joy. And yes I will begin to take pictures daily of the construction site, I had to find my camera though it was mia.

No, a new building for the College of Education. If a new arena is built look for it to be more downtown.

Memorial Hall is the old Basketball arena that the JAR replaced. Carrol Hall was/is the building inbetween Memorial and Buchtel Hall. It has the marble pictures of greek philosophers above the doors.

I'm pretty sure that Carroll Hall was the orginal library building before Bierce was built. That might explain the Greek philosophers above the doors.

i think carroll is going be demolished soon. they have it taped off and boarded up as of yesterday when i walked by. the handicap lot by the softball field is closed for equipment.

March demo for Carroll Hall according to this:

At its lowest point, the floor of the bowl will be about 26 feet below ground level at Vine Street. It is estimated crews will remove about 173,300 cubic yards of dirt, an amount that will fill more than 11,500 dump trucks. Some of the dirt will be used to grade the area around Carroll Hall, which will be torn down in March.
