br30302004 Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 I received a call from a friend in Delaware who is a big University of Delaware Blue Hen fan. He said that Sean Hakes had visited campus this weekend and gave a verbal to UD. for the fall. Sean will be competing against Rob S (can remember the last name) the EX-OSU QB for the starting job. Best of luck to Sean as he competes and tries to lead UD back to the National Championship game. Quote

gozips19 Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 i am guessing they are referring to j.d. relinquishing the offensive coordinator duties and going to the spread offense. best of luck to sean but if you can't beat out the cj's and you can't pull another d-I scholarship then it was best the two parted ways when they did Quote

(IMHO, it should have also been his last year in this position.) Quote

Hakes wasn't comfortable with the new system and left.http://www.delawareonline.com/apps/pbcs.dl...300357/0/NEWS01 Quote
