Does it cost money in terms of lost revenue?....Yes. It will cost them roughly $20,000 in lost revenue. In the grand scheme of things, $20K isn't much money. This article places the UofA annual budget at $364.5 million. 20,000/364,500,000 = 0.00005. Students have been asked to pay more than their fair share for the "building process". If four of them get some of it back in the form of a tuition reduction, I'm all for it. UofA attracts the kind of student in many case that would greatly benefit from this tuition reduction. I'm glad they are doing this in lieu of another stupid bobble head give away. My God, landfills around the country must be filling up with bobble head dolls faster than diapers.
