Not sure I understand your logic. You won't travel for 1 game at UCSB but you would for 1 game at UCLA? Or, are you thinking the Zips might play UCLA in a tournament where they would have a 2nd game in Califunny within 2 days of each other? Personally, I don't like scheduling UCSB. I think it's too far to travel with a game 3 days earlier and another 5 days later. [Play WF on 22nd, travel on 24th, play UCSB on 25th, travel on the 26th, play PSU on the 30th. You can't regenerate your legs on an airplane.] Add to that, the UCSB a-holes haven't come to Akron in return for our last trip, and as much as some people think it's cool, I didn't appreciate their fans throwing tortillas from the top of the stands at our players while they are in action. I'd have no problem with them throwing tortillas to celebrate a goal, but I don't understand how the referees can allow them to be thrown at the opponent during play. Coming from the top of the stands with enough velocity, someone could get hurt. (Kinetic energy = 1/2 * m * v^2. Velocity matters more than mass.)
