Wow!!!!! Coach hasn’t been official for a week and we are already trash talking him and his recruits…… (smh). Answer me this….. when is the last time the Zips had a 6-4 310 DL that appears to be very athletic. Who knows what this young man will produce on the field but I like him on paper. Let’s support these young men until they do something to change our minds.

Could we see Paul Rhoads join the staff as Defensive Coordinator….. Coach Moorhead mentioned him in the press conference. Currently Coach Rhoads is a defensive analyst at Ohio State.

A couple posts on Twitter are referring to Zach Gibson visiting Nebraska this weekend. I wish him luck and hope he get picked up. This kid made some huge strides from 2020 to 2021. Imagine what he could have done at Akron with more time to throw.

The sky is not falling folks. If the program success over the next couple of years was based on one player then the Zips have bigger problems. Let’s celebrate Konata and wish him well. He has the chance to find his way on to a P5 school. Moorhead is the real deal and he is going to find several guys with Konata’s skill level.

He’s a former assistant at UConn, Miss State, Maryland, Miami and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He brings a long history with Joe Moorhead. Also wore No. 44 at Syracuse.
