Any idea if there has been any utilization of the Women’s NIL coffers here with Shelbee? If not, then why not? Seems like the exact kind of situation where it should be implemented in the program.
-
Shelbee Brown has entered into the portal…
-
-If we apparently have a NIL program for the women’s team, what the hell is it going toward? What’s our portal plan? -Did anyone even try to talk to Reagan last off-season before she walked? No, they did not. -There’s no pressure on Gensler? I would certainly hope there is right? Halfway through his contract, has a new boss, and MOST IMPORTANTLY is: 21-39 overall, 10-26 in conference. -Charles is gone now guys, you don’t have to defend his “culture changing” hires anymore.

Alexus Mobley hit the portal. https://x.com/taliagoodmanwbb/status/1901702430246818173?s=46&t=fAyoMi31YFB6KG8DnxKteA

So what’s the deal with next season? I know we have a couple redshirts that will be in the mix but who are we looking to add? Shelbee needs to be the focal point of the offense and I feel we need to add a solid PG at the very least. Watching the girls in Cleveland the past couple days we are not even close to that level currently.

24-23 good guys at Half. Kent is beatable if they aren’t hitting 3’s.
-
We made it to 3rd base on the 7th date. Just looking for any kind of fire from the gals today, a good crowd, and a free t-shirt.

We’re flirting with a winless February…
-
Today’s our chance for a win in February. I would certainly hope we can take care of this Bobcats team. Hopefully we get a nice crowd as well.
-
I highly doubt it. The MAC is much weaker than in years past. The conference NET rating is currently 15th out of 32 D1 conferences, behind even the Big Sky, Sun Belt, and Summit Conferences, when just a couple years ago the MAC was in the Top 10.

I view tonight as a must win game and will be a good barometer of where the program is at overall. This should be an auto-win but given our circumstances let’s hope to see the girls rally tonight and end the 6 game slump.

Absolutely brutal start. Zips trail 20-4 end of 1st.
-
Zips fall 82-69 at the Stroh Center. Unfortunately, I think they played about as well as this group is capable of at this point. Kent hosting us on Saturday, let’s hope for a good showing after our boys maul them Friday night.
-
Welp. So much for that. Hard to win with a 3 point 2nd quarter. Was hoping for a little better effort with Buffalo on deck and a trip to Stroh following. Not sure what to even look to see from the team in its current state at this point. Maybe we can get up for the pair of Kent games in February…

Winnable game tonight in Oxford. Feel like we need a good showing here to get the season back on track.
-
Outscored 24-8 in the 2nd quarter. Woof. 40-22 CMU
-
Kaia Woods is in the portal and won’t be playing the rest of the season.
-
Michigan starts 8/9 from 3 and never looks back in a 96-55 win. Wolverine’s D is just nasty but I honestly think there can be a lot of positives to take into conference play from getting reps in against a team like they faced this afternoon.
-
Lady Zips fall to Tennessee State 72-68. Not sure what happened here but they have a quick turnaround and travel to Bellarmine Sunday.
-
On the cusp on a HUGE win. Up 8 under a minute left. MOBLEY eating today. Awesome.
-
What an impressive 3rd quarter! I also think the backdrops up top look sharp and create a more aesthetically pleasing, intimate, and focused game watch experience.

The Gensler Era enters its second season kicking off hosting Georgia State in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge Monday night. I'm not really sure what our expectations should be with Reagan heading to West Lafayette and a lot of new faces on the squad but I'm looking forward to seeing the girls back in action.

Um, quite the resume coming off one year at a Florida community college. 17 mpg 5.1 ppg 1.5 apg 1.7 rpg https://www.nwfraiders.com/sports/wbkb/2022-23/bios/davis_jaela_m207 I guess she’s got some size for a PG, but not sure what we’re doing here.
