I love the way the MAC report determines they have done a good job when they are criticized. Cracks me up to see it! If you think you're doing a good job, there is clearly no need for you to defend it on you know who's board. Because you know who doesn't care what you think. Report what you want and be done with it. I'm not even sure what this defense means. We do the nominating and therefore we are right? We nominate and then pick some of them? No need to respond to the questions. I'm sure you're right! Let me see if I can help you here:WE do not nominate ANYBODY for the official MAC awards. WE have nothing to do with it. The schools themselves submit the nominees. Obviously UA did not feel Getsy merited mention either. Hence, my statement, that our choices and nominees were clearly in line with the official recognition as well as we made our selections before the official awards.I was clearly referring to the MAC official awards in the nominees list submitted to the conference, not our very unofficial awards. You guys need to chill. There was no bigger supporter of UA than us at the end of last season. We were one of the few out of town media outlets to even travel to Akron for your game against Can't on Thanksgiving morning and we picked UA to finish first this season. We gave our 2005 Special Teams MVP Award to Domenik Hixon at the Motor City Bowl luncheon and he deserved it far more than any kicker did last season. My point here is we have given plenty of team and individual recognition to the Zips, and deservedly so.The Zips played valiantly against a good PSU team but no individual performances stood out, which is neither a bad thing nor an indictment of anybody's performance.

FYI -The MAC just announced their official POTW and note that Getsy was not nominated and most of those we mentioned we were nominated, so I think MAC Report Online did a pretty solid job this week.http://mac-sports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_...0&ATCLID=591702

Just wanted to pass on some info on a great ebay store that has the best prices I have ever seen on mini football helmets and has all of the MAC schools readily available from both Riddell and Schutt.I have purchased all of my minis (and yes, my wife is ready to throttle me!) from them and they arrive without fail within 2-3 days of my order. I have completed my MAC collection...looks really cool!I have put a banner link to their ebay store on the top left hand side of our website, MAC Report Online so please stop by the website and click on the banner for Midwest Collectibles. They have a ton of other stuff too.No, I am not getting a % of sales or anything like that. Just want to support a new merchant who actually carries MAC related stuff! If you have positive experience with them, pass it on.
