Working on this ... it will be rough at first, but it's definitely in the works ..There should also be a way to post the live chat from one hour prior to one hour after a game to a message board so that others who were at the game or could not interact during the game have a chance to catch up with the in-game commentary. -
The Zips would play at 7PM on Friday should they win on Thursday afternoon.

That's because KD is grabbing many of the top guys in Ohio that are headed mid-major: The McKnights, Linhart, Humpty, Sullivan .. etc. Can't State now has to go out of state to find them.Also, there's not many impact JUCO players in Ohio .. so that's another reason Jimmy C has out of state talent.The hippies, for example, have only one ohioan on their roster and have players from TX, FL, NJ, IN, MI and even Brazil.Same with Ohio who have players from TX, CA, and even europe. -

I asked around by my seat .. and it was suggested he is not healthy at the moment. Don't know if it's lingering effects of the flu he had .. or something else, but if you watch him, he isn't moving with much energy at all out there. Hope he's back soon. Another defender will help in Cleveland.I do have a question though. What in God's green earth happened to Jimmy Conyers? Talking about falling off the radar, and fast! He hasn't even played in the last 2 or 3 games... How do you go from starting to bench to no PT at all? I mean, I know what Dambrot's doing, but damn, that's just crazy. -

Zip fans have become SPOILED!I've done a little research and I think you guys just need to appreciate WHAT we have, WHILE we HAVE it! I surely hope KD does NOT read these boards. From what I was able to piece together, here are some facts to consider:1. In the 28 years that UA has been D-1, besides Dambrot & Huggins, there have only been 4 winning seasons.2. When KD took over the program, there hadn't been a winning season in 5 years.3. UA didn't have a post-season game since 1989 and KD was the only coach in UA history to WIN a post-season game.4. The complaints about him this season kill me. Do you realize UA was picked 4th in the East PRIOR to the injuries! I believe he has earned his coaching wings this season, simply due to the fact of how much he has had to overcome. He is one step away from another 20 win season WITH A TON OF INJURIES! That, to me, is a great coach.5. Do you think we will ever get a coach with as much passion for this University as KD? This guy actually WANTS to be here. I hope to God, that he doesn't read this board and all the criticism. I wouldn't blame him one bit for "looking" elsewhere. The guy would give his right n*t for the basketball program, yet we are so quick to find fault and negativity.6. He went to the Elite 8 in College Division 2 and won two state championships in high school.7. He has almost 200 wins in his college coaching career.8. When Hugs was here, he was in an easier league with an easier schedule.I have been following UA basketball for almost 50 years and I have never been more proud to be a Zip. -

You know something we don't? (Wouldn't be the first time)We play VCU on the road next year.But we may well be home next season in BB depending on how things shake out. As far as I can remember, wasn't the Nevada game the only road BB game we've had? Drake was at home .. Austin Peay last year .. what about Niagara .. I can't remember where the initial game was & too lazy to look.
We play "away" next year.So we played at Austin Peay this year as a return trip for last years Bracketbusters game right?Which means we had a home Bracketbuster last year...We had a home Bracketbuster game 2 years in a row?How does the rotation go for these games? -
To me, this is the dumbest thread ever posted on ZN.O. It's garbage. You're getting spoiled and you need a little more patience. Next year will be the FIRST season where all the players were signed / recruited to play for Keith (I know he was the lead recruiter .. but Quade was signed to play for Hipsher). Seems like McKeesport lost earlier this week, so season over. Missed a chance for an AK-Roadie.If he makes it to AAU season uncommitted (or otherwise I guess) .. the Rowdies need to make an appearance at an AAU game in support of young Zeke. This would be a great guy to get.

It's irrelevant to the Zips.Regardless of final records, the West Division winner will get the #2 seed, per MAC rules. So even if the Zips pass WMU, but remain behind Can't .. WMU will be the 2 seed and UA the 3.
