Getsy did have a better game, a tad over 50%. However, I think it does matter. I dont' think a tad over 50% is going to get us 3-0 for the remainder of the year. I am not stating they should start Ferg but I think he should be given a chance, if needed, in a situation where QB output is barely average and we are not winning. Hats off to Biggs and the whole Zips squad for a great game!

I believe, given a chance, Ferguson is the real deal.

I really hope they give Ferguson a chance this week. He is a big, strong armed QB who at 6'6" can see over the O line and who can throw the long ball, which we haven't seen much of this year. We have seen some catches and long runs but not many long passes down field. He played good in both the spring game and at media day. According to the posts during the summer he also did well in camp. Why is Akron one of the few colleges who refuse to play their 2nd team QB no matter what? There have certainly been times this year when he should have played - NO DOUBT! Maybe afraid of a QB controversy?
