Hey Zipper, You're entitled to your opinion. This is just my opinion and I think it's time to make some changes and try something different. What we're doing now is not working,

From what I've heard Ferguson did win the QB battle in the spring and he outplayed the other QBs in the spring game. Fall practice was pretty much the same. The QB job wasn't decided on the field in the spring or the fall, it was given to Getsy because it had been promised to him. About time for a change though. You should have to perform to keep your position and that's not been happening. So, change it up and see what happens! I vote for Ferg.

I'll say it straight out. No, the QB cupboard is NOT bare and void of talent. It seems that JD is very loyal to the promise that he made to Getsy and not willing to let another QB on the field because if that QB can throw the deep ball and get something going with the offense, then JD has a problem. Obviously Getsy is our QB, like it or not, and Ferguson will never get a chance to play QB at Akron. He is a very talented QB and has the ability to be a positive leader and influence on this team. He also has a very strong arm and would give us the deep threat which we do not have with Getsy. What a shame that as talented as he is we will never get to see him play for Akron.

Why not give Ferguson a chance? Really strong arm and maybe he should have gotten in the game much sooner.
