While we, as fans, will understandably be wrapped up in the success of this year's team, this type of recruiting is what will finally elevate the UA program to where it should be. With new facilities now and hopefully a new stadium soon, we are looking at an entirely new outlook on athletics. In 20 years, I hope that we will look back on this as the beginning of the Golden Age of Zips football.

Been attending games since my freshman year in '77. Not sure if I have reached Slug status but received my 4 season tickets last week and look forward to meeting board members at the games this year. Is there any special place that y'all will be hangin' before the games?

Click Here I apologize if this is old news. The trend I see is that JD and staff continue to offer and recruit at a much higher level than the previous regime. You don't know unless you ask!

Insiders.com is reporting that Cedric Middleton has verballed with the Zips. A 6'3" guard out of Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, the site shows him as a senior next year. Very strange. Maybe someone with better access or search skills can dig up the real scoop.

Dare, Like it or not, it is the responsibility of the coach to make sure that the players are following his plan, not the reverse. Quite the contrary to what you are saying, if DH allowed the players to establish their own agenda (which may have some merit), he should have been gone a long time ago. There is a rumor on one of the Pitt boards that we are going to drop MTSU and add Pitt to the schedule. If that is the case, it is hard to see better than a .500 record with the non-conference schedule.
