Troy completes their upset of #25 LSU.

It might be fun sometime to go back and read all of the posts in this thread from those who vehemently insisted that Troy was a garbage football program, just a week ago.

Who has LSU beaten? They lost 37-7 to miss state. Miss st just lost by 39 to auburn. This crap goes round and round. Just watch the zips. The eyes don't lie. They blow

I'm not justifying anything. I'm talking about Troy not Akron. I believe I told you all Troy was better than what you were saying. Just like when Woody was "done" after the Penn State game. Its okay to be wrong.

Woody blows!!! Who in the f are you watching?

If we want to go bowling we simply can't afford a loss today.  Looking ahead I see only 2 "certain" victories in Buffalo and, of course, K.ent.

    PSU - L

    APB - W

    ISU - L

    Troy - L

    BGSU - W

    ...

    Ball Sweat - ???

    Western MI - L

    Toledo - L

    Buffalo - W

Miami - L (we never win in Oxford)

    Ohio - L

    K.ent - W

Even with penciling in a W for today, that's only 4 wins... 5 if we beat Ball Sweat.  I'd say we have absolutely no chance to reach 6 wins if we lose today.

Win or lose, today is a watershed day for this program moving forward.

Have you watched Buffalo? That is far from a certain win.

I'm expecting a 3 TD victory....35 to 14.  Kwads breaks free for 3 big plays.  Ball will run to 125 and not past, so my predictionon will be right!  We'll still do some stupid things, personal foul penalty at an inopportune time, and probably fumble away a score in the red zone, but overall we'll prevail big time.

I am right there with you except the point spread. I'm not convinced we will blow anyone out by 3 td's, but I will be shocked if we don't beat BGSU by at least 10.

Which came first?  Taylor dissing you or you dissing Taylor?

Regardless, based on the fan non-reaction during the tribute, I may understand why he wouldn't prioritize coming to Akron.  Too bad.  Strange things happen sometimes in relationships with celebrity alumni.  Hope you catch patch it up.

We finally brought back Troy Davis, our Heisman runner-up (yes, you read it correctly, look it up) last season who was not exactly a Rhodes Scholar.  And then he proceeds to spend a week in campustown bars, get cited for public intoxication, and be unapologetic ("hey, the fans want to buy me drinks").

After he went pro he never really made any effort to come back to the university.... well.....ever. I have no problems with him and I am definitely a fan. I'll just say I wasn't shocked that he had an excuse to not attend.
