In Matt WE Trust, I hope We can find a way to keep Matt he is the the reason the Zips are as good as they are. He has done sone much for the students and this University it is unreal. I have the most uprespect for Matt. He has taught me so much and has been like a big brother to me. Rowdies,First off all good job Saturday, I had fun and hope you all did as well. But as you know its time to get back to work. There will be a Rowdy at the Q. This issue will be a bit different seeing the limited amount of time we have. There will be information and cheers about some of the schools that we will be playing all on one sheet. So if you have any cheers for: Buffalo, Ohio, Toledo, Western Michigan please email them to me by 7:00 P.M. Tuesday March 6 2006 at golliein@ aol.com the subject Ak-Rowdies. I need everything by that time so I can put it all in to "The Rowdy". We will be playing Western Michigan On Thursday at 2:00 P. M. at the Q. Ak- Rowdies and student fans,I must say that every one did a good job for the most part on Saturday. You guys and girls cheered long and hard, you worked the players and coaches which was a very nice touch to the JAR. I thought that you guys handled yourself's in a classy manner. I respect the fact that all of you showed up. From what I heard things looked pretty good on ESPN2. On The Rowdy I hear it worked well for some and not so well for the others. So what I am asking is if you will post some of the good and bad things so we can work on improving things for the Can't game. I am pretty sure we will be having a Can't think thank to come upwith cheers and fun stuff for the game. I will keep you informed on when and where that will be. We all need to work together to make the Ak Rowdies the best student section in the nation. So if you have any ideas or comments please post them. I read alot of post that had your problems and concerns on them, I will try my best to get to the bottom of some of these things and Check into some of the problems. Yea there should be an email out sometime tomarrow. Friday is our best bet because Saturday at 2 is out of the picture because the place is set up for the game and too very hard to close the jar down on game day. Friday at six may be hard but i hear that something FREE is in the mix. So come one come all we need a great turnout. Trust me it will make us look so much better on saturday if we pull this off.

So a meeting place is needed to get the troops going aye ok that can be done, Working on the chant sheets, but cant do it all my self i cant do it all my self. I need you guys/ girls to come up with some crazy things to put on that chant list. Put your heads together and let's do it/Go Zips

So I hear all of this talk of people thinking every one should be a bit crazy and push the ball and come up with new chants. Ok you can walk the walk but can you talk the talk? Rowdies,As you know the Ohio University Bob Cats are coming to town on 2/25 at 4:00 pm. As a group we need to be ready. This game will give you the AK- Rowdies to show your skills on live T.V.!! So we think zippy needs a makeover aye? I think not, why change something that is going so well. In the past year the world has began to discover the Zips and Zippy.Zippy was there for the zips first Mac title, the zips first bowl game, At Marland with the soccer team(not to mention the the turtle feared Zippy and did not even show )and will be there when the zips roll in to the q to bring back that mac title to the good old zips.Then spring will roll around and you know what, the zips will be right there too. Its a great time to be a Zip. It is people like Brett and so many others who have laid the ground work for Zippy. Friends I can promise you Zippy is growing and working hard for each and every one of you. Zippy is taking the ground work that all of the greats before her laid and bringing it to you the fans first hand. Zippy is only as good as you the fans. With that said we need the support of each and every one of you from this point foward. We need all the Zips fans to get on board and enjoy the ride.
