The University of Akron women’s golf team broke a pair of school records on Monday, Sept. 28 at the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri. During the second round of the tournament, the Zips recorded the best individual team round in school history with an even-par 288-stroke performance. In addition, the Zips’ 589 (+13) 36-hole total stands as the best two-round finish ever.
