The University of Akron women’s golf team broke a pair of school records on Monday, Sept. 28 at the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri. During the second round of the tournament, the Zips recorded the best individual team round in school history with an even-par 288-stroke performance. In addition, the Zips’ 589 (+13) 36-hole total stands as the best two-round finish ever.

The Tigers’ home course, The Club at Old Hawthorne, is a par-72 that stretches 7,221-yards through a rolling terrain with multiple water hazards and fairway bunkers.
