as i told you guys last night, it was nice having you guys down here. its a nice rivalry to have bc of the fact you guys do have a legit student section. wish we had more people there but thats been the story the whole season (actually anywhere u guys the ozone ect.) good luck the rest of the year and hopefully we will see you in ctown. btw where the heck was the real cowbell last night, i love that thing ha ha.

i myself love the ZI-PS chant, but it cant be over done, maybe once or twice a game. Not every 2 seconds like down in cbus. Dont forget the We are...marshall, penn state chant has sorda become Can't's battle cry as well. Loved reading one of their threads saying there going to chant it like no other at the Q to let people know who they are lol.

1. not really on the flyers, they say they hand them out which means 200 flyers to students that dont care in the Union. If they were smart they would do it at robs where all the resident students are. And really we shouldnt need to bc thats what a marketing department is for but yet again you havent seen anything on campus about this game tomorrow outside of the facebook events and emails we are about to send out. 2. Yeah we are in tom's ear, and he is happy with the ROWDIES. He backs us 100% buys us pizza once in a while. Even one of his kids stood with us at the first half of the Ohio game. Of course he wants us to keep growing and getting attendance up at bball games.3. Man do i miss the hype guy, could of used him multiple times this year (ohio, emu, austin peay just to name a few.) But willie is done with the hype job, actually will be getting his masters degree in the spring and rarely is at any bball games anymore bc of school. But that being said he will be at the UB game tomorrow night. BTW if we ever get the hype guy back please dont let him be like the one at Can't with the sideways hat, and always trying to start slow claps every two seconds CLAP CLAP CLAP!!!4. Greek night is tomorrow night, as you said it will help with attendance till after halftime when they all leave.5. Can't state sucks6. you can't have any artifical noise makers going on during actual play itself. The cowbell is though being used at the end of timeouts things like that.7. Agree on the soccer team. People will jump on the bandwagon to see a great team. Also look at the level of competition that comes to the Pouch. MSU OSU Michigan IU those are big names people want to see. Not BG, EMU and NIU.8. Can't State still sucks!

which i understand thats why we put the point system in place. maybe that incentive is what people may need and it did some what as more people started to show after we put it in place. I understand and am not goign to get upset at anyone for not showing up during break. Not everyone can drive back for games hell myself i live over an hour away, that adds up after time. Especially when ur facing teams live valpo, malone, and jewish school of the blind, people are not going to come back for those games bc they know their team is going to win. We were just trying to help get more people to games.

i hear what you all are saying so here you go...1. The point system was done bc the fact no one was showing up during break. It is now a perminent thing going into next year. Honestly attendance for games is up because of that. Kinda scary to think how things would be if we didnt put it in place.2. We do send out emails, both on facebook and on the university server. We tell people the importance of the games, and how this team needs them. Unfortunatly people just don't care.3. Its sad but true but people join the ROWDIES for the shirt. I wish it wasnt true trust me but facts are facts. It happens every where. true blue, ozone ect. We reward those that come, discounted tickets for the MAC, Can't tickets ect. 4. I wish everyone showed up to games, honestly if we can get what we do at soccer it would be amazing. And that goes for everyone not just the ROWDIES.5. The players, coaches, the team knows we are behind them. They come celebrate with us after games, dance around on the bench when we do "I believe" trust me they know we are behind them.6. Be thankful for what you got. I know some of you may not be happy but honestly be happy that you have us. Look around the MAC and a majority of the schools do not have wha we have. We create a great atmosphere, do chants, get in the other teams head and when it comes MAC tourney time we give this team a home court advantage no other team can give. aka we have the same seats as last year. 7. I love this university, this team and the ROWDIES. We the ROWDIES will try everything in our power to get this team back to the dance this year, which includes getting a win on Wednesday night. Buffalo's in Canada, Can't State Sucks and GO ZIPS!!!

no critisim taken, becasue as the president im trying to figure out the same thing. Now in terms of the website, it is coming by the end of the year...hopefully sooner then later. Now the comment about Can't, i do agree it's nice to have students at the games but at the same time they dont do anything. Atleast the ones we have make noise do chants get in the other players heads (ask washington and kvk from ohio.) People love what we do, just wish we had more on a more consistant basis.

ej i agree with you until we can get both full then yeah maybe we can make an argument to have the move. Also I do agree with the fact that yeah the band is cheering with us this year. saying our chants, putting their own twists on things, honestly i have no problem with them if they are going to be loud and make noise which you guys have pretty much all year.

now in terms of letting people down after tip, we have told the ushers (staff) that we let other students down after tip if theres room. thats why we have someone with the wristbands up there till atleast the under 16 media timeout. plus during break including the uri game we let anyone down there, didnt really seem to make a difference bc people still sat in the wooden bleachers. weird and frustrating all in its self

i think its a good look for him, the funny thing is bg was terrible (outside of #2 and i believe 4) at the free throw line. job well done i guess lol

but honestly it is frustrating have 500-1000 students (over 1300 for hartwick, iu, and osu) at every soccer game then begging to get 150-200 for basketball.

depends on the the game, toledo, miami, bg, austin peay both sides pretty much fulll. When it came to niagra emu and ohio you had one side and then about half of the other. NIU was honestly prolly the worse bc it was 2 days after we lost to emu no marketing (outside of the rowdies) and it was a 3rd game in 5 nights. Break games were ok nothing special, maybe with the exception of uri but its hard to get people back to cmapus when u face valpo, st. francis and our lady of the poor and blind (malone). Anticipate both being full and loud like it was last week.

dooont worry we will be ready to go for this one, and honestly the rowdies havent been that bad this year. Actually about the same number at games as last year. Though I must ohio may have been our best game. Do i have to bring up overtime and the stand up chant we did, the place was rockin for that game. But in all seriousness we will ready to go on wednesday. though it is pretty sad that i havent seen any marketing on campus for this game outside of what the ROWDIES do. you would think the athletic department would have something up, seeming the game is on fsn and ub is bringing down students.

if i had my way all members would be on facebook plus it would alot higher if we didnt make a new group every year lol but hey if you want to throw around numbers u may want to add 1200 to that facebook group to get the actual student org size lol but in terms of true blue im happy that they are finally coming down here. and as ozone said they are one of the better student sections in the MAC, and we do have a nice rivalry starting with them. Wish we could get that from Can't but their student section "da cowbell crew" (yes its da) is more worried about making signs about akron chicks when they dont look at their own dance team.
