Also last night on ESPN U they were going over all the conferences and how many teams were going to go on to dance and one guy said just one from MAC saying they would only be stopped by WMU or Ohio and the other guy says well you are forgetting about Akron who i see winning the MAC and getting two teams in the tourney for the first time in a while.I like him

great idea this will be a nice place to vent after the games but what about the people who cant make it here on time or at all and still want to read what people have to say? won't this take away from the other message boards?

Does anyone know if Can't has a website like this one? i would love to see what they have to say about this game...if they thought the refs were bad and what they thought about that amazing comebackand some people say they out played us for 38 minutes i would say it was only for the first half...we played just as good in the second half as they did if not betterits not Milum and Goddards fault we went 3-23 from the beyond the arc but dam they didn't help to much. and i like what someone else said (not sure in this thread or another) but UNC and Duke didn't start all 5 seniors their senior night!Oh and before i forget...during the Can't intros did one player frisk another as he was introduced? here is to soon being the

Why spend the $$ if you are not going to do it right. This place should be twice the size of what is being proposed. Doesn't their current building (Anderson Arena?) seat at least that many?It currently holds 4,700...is 300 seats really worth it?They might as well make it 8,000 and use it for concerts and try to get more attractions to come there

Oh and also we need to do something to get fans to the games to show them how fun it is then they'll keep coming back for more and a nice gift to the already devoted Zip fans in OH...maybe some t-shirt give aways (not toss 10 t-shirts in the stands) give everyone in attendance a yellow or a white shirt with something Akron and another idea I had...What if they would make it so the sections of the seats in the lower bowl on the far ends by the rowdies (only about 5 or 6 seats deep) were open to Students. It would make the games much louder down by the court making it even harder to take a win away from us in the JAR.

well put Skipobviously our tactics now are not getting us recognized and its definitely not or records so KD should at least try bumping up our schedule for a season and see how it goes. He doesn't have to get Duke or Memphis to play us but get more quality 3 or 4 star teams to play us like Pitt and or even Butler. Teams that wont make a loss look as bad as one to N. Ill. Just because they beat W. Michigan they get the tie breaker? What about the Toledo game? We beat Toledo and OU lost and we beat E. Mich and they lost to them along with us beating BG and they lost to them. But on the other hand they beat N. Ill and central Mich. The only way to solve this potential tie breaker for sure is to just beat them in Athens and take the series 2-0.and how bout the flushes getting the first ranking for a MAC team since Ball State in 2001Unfortunately Congrats is due to them on getting the 23rd rank...It does the MAC well when they lose to us in the MAC championshipMaybe we can get two teams in the Tourney nowGo Zips!!

There is a way to make it dark in the JAR without just turning out the lights..they can install covers that can be mechanically shut and opened and just have maybe two guys on the cat walk with spot lights for the introductions...and also there is no bigger buzz kill then the fight song coming on right after a great pump up song. I love the breaking through the sign and when they throw the ball over and break through but that song just brings the entire momentum down.Go Zips!!!
