  1. The three most popular topics on MAC boards are:1. Fire the coach2. Bring in a new QB3. Move to another conferencePlease stop beating me!!!!
Sports media makes a living beating you. Have you ever watched an ESPN pregame show?1. Control the line of scrimmage. 2.Limit turnovers. 3. Establish a run game. Millions watch it each week. The nice thing about the forum here is that nobody puts a gun to your head and makes you click on a thread entitled "Switching Conferences"We also encourage you to start your own creative and intelligent topics. We are all looking forward to it.
  2. Let's win a few championships in football and make a few trips to the NCAA tournament in basketball. Let's fill our new stadium game in and game out for a couple of years. Let's fill up the JAR more than once or twice a year. Then maybe... just maybe... we can start talking about this.
Explain to me why we have to win all these things first before we "move on"?Can't we get really good somewhere else just as easy (if not easier) than where we are?I'm not saying we are moving or not, I just don't understand the point of "winning" and THEN moving.
  3. Let's set 2 realistic goals for this week that will improve our chances of winning.1. Keep the high snaps to one a quarter, that should cut them down by 50%2. Receivers, only give up one interception off a ball that you tip into the air. *Weather looks to be nice.* I've noticed that #12 has better hands when he is thrown the ball less than 10 yards down the field.(also, while I'm speaking of #12, please don't use him returning punts, we have better talent. Did he win a reward in practice last week?)

  4. if it was ONLY one bad game...its been every game against a good opponent...
EVERY? Every as in THREE? Out of those three, one is ranked in the top 25 and the other two are receiving votes to be in the top 25!?!CJ has a 124.47 QB rating, which will be higher when his targets quit volleying up INTs for him. He is also 20th in the nation in TD passes. Is he perfect? No, but I'm not sure he deserves as many critical posts as he receives. On the UA seasonal lists, Jacquemain’s 1,457 yards is 15th. His 124 completions is 13th on the UA single-season list. He has been right around the 60 percent completion range all season. Currently, Charlie Frye is the only UA quarterback to complete over 60 percent of his passes in a season, a feat he accomplished in 2002 (65,8), 2003 (64.8) and 2004 (63.6).At this rate, Jacquemain will join the two other UA quarterbacks under head coach J.D. Brookhart (all-time leader Charlie Frye and second-place Luke Getsy) on the top of the UA all-time passing lists.
  5. A little early for grades IMO. We beat Syracuse, Army & Can't.If we lost to any one of those "teams" the "fire JD" threads would be obnoxious. We need to become more consistent. The one thing I do like now (that I didn't before)is the time off after the next two games. It sets up nice to improve our team. A goodcoaching staff is always able to improve their team with lot of time off between games. We should be a much better team when we play Toledo. I'll be ready for some grades after that game (good or bad).

  6. Dennis Kennedy will probably just play more snaps this week. If the game plan is anything other than that, I will be surprised.
On top of that, three-year starter Dennis Kennedy has suffered almost game to game with leg cramps. So the Zips maybe looking at taking the redshirt off a true freshman for the game this Saturday at Can't State.
