Wow, the last few minutes of the game were unbelievable. I almost turned it off when they went back down 8 a little over halfway through the second half.

Hopefully Embick can pick up some top recruits to reload the team. I very well might be wrong since I don't know a lot about soccer, but it seems like they've really lacked a dominant player the past couple years.
I'm in medical school now, not at Akron, so I don't have much free time. Also, since most of my time is spent inside studying, I like to go out and do other things on my breaks.
Does anyone think KD will consider implementing a havoc-like defense in the offseason? Obviously it wouldn't be as good as VCU's since they have pretty much perfected it, but I think it would still be effective in the MAC. My only concern is whether we have the types of athletes that are necessary for it to be successful.
I'm afraid it might take them a little longer to start playing well this year. One positive note about tonight is that the freshmen got a significant amount of playing time.

Something else that totally baffles me is how many layups they miss. Ever since I started following them, it seems like they can't finish consistently once they get to the basket.
