I'm sure the band cheered because:A. They were practicing at 7AM in the freezing cold while most everyone else was snug in bed.B. They stand the entire game and play almost constantly.C. From the time they step off, about 2 hours before the game, to when they march back, they are not allowed to eat.You might like to talk to a band member and just ask them how much of their free time marching band takes up.
