How about we at least get rid of Tom as the AD and replace him with Tressel. I think a lot of zips fans would be celebrating this move. Maybe everyone could chip in and pay Tom's moving expenses if the university would like to save some money.

So anyone that hires him takes a huge risk. In our situation, it's well worth the gamble. Too bad he's not in play anymore. If any school has just cause to hire JT, I think that is us. We have nothing left to lose. Since this punishment probably lowered JT in value, now we need to go back and try and get him.

I'd second that. If the coach started sucking, he would just yell at them. If they were ahead by only 21, he would yell for 28. Just think of the entertainment value.

I agree that Harney wearing the headphones was in bad taste. Also, I notice he did not come out with the rest of the team after the half. He seemed like he did not care. He needs to re-assess if he wants to be on the team or not. Lately it seems like he does not want to be a zip.

I agree. Tonights game was a perfect example of his power and skill. I think this year like many people have said will be one of the best years for the program. As long as we go far, I don't think we should have any problem keeping him. If we are 6-5 with the games he had to sit out, I am think we will go a great distance in the post season.

I paid $25 to park at an App. State game this year. Don't complain. sorry you got ripped off. Given the amount of fun my wife and I had that day in Boone, I would have paid $200 to park. Tom should be fired even if the rumors are true. He made too many mistakes. If I made a multi-million dollar mistake, I'm sure just being fired would be the best thing possible. But, before that happening, I would hope Akron would give us all a chance to show him what we think of him. Maybe have him stand at center court tonight during the Teddybear Toss and a lot more would be thrown.

How about an announcement of a new head coach and the resignation of TW . . . That would be a great gift for all zips fans for Christmas. We all know this is unlikely, but it is much needed.

Even though we are giving 10, we need to remember to play strong till the end. The last few games it seemed the team was losing steam the second half. We have won big, but if we do this tomorrow, it could be a risk of a loss. We need to keep strong, we don't want KD blowing another gasket on the sidelines. If he is blowing a gasket when we are up 20, I wonder how he will react tomorrow with a closer game.

I don't think you will have to worry about that. But, if its a bad choice you will see the new topics "Who Should We Have Hired?" and "Fire TW Now"

The guys on your list who might not have had his hiring announced imediately are Loeffler and Watson.. Thats only because I believe both teams are still playing?.(unlike Akron). But usually if coordinators get a HC job they can go immediately.The others,including Mason, appear to have been available. If a current Akron asisstant is 'pushing' Mason it may not be the best recomendation given the previous regime's performance. But,since it doesn't seem anybody knows anything for sure....? Word going around the Basketball game tonight was that its a contract issue but it is close to being finalized.

I don't think so. They aren't going to base a job offer on one game. Completely agree. No coach is a great coach or a bad coach, based on whether his team won or lost any single game. Just making it to a championship level game at that level should show he has the skills to lead people. One thing most fans noticed RI lacked.

I'm still voting for PW. We should want a Head Coach, not an assistant that has to learn the ropes.

I just received a reply from Mr. Huettmann. When ordering though Adidas, the bookstore has to order 300+ jerseys which is a risk if they don't sell. However, he is working with the bookstore to come up with a solution that will result in stocking Adidas jerseys, in short and long sleeve, both home and away in a variety of numbers. I didn't mention this to Mr. Huettmann, but if we were to plan a bulk order of jerseys, the bookstore/athletic department *might* work with us. I was in the bookstore today and watched a group of people quickly choose the discounted jerseys over the $74.95 new jerseys. I will give the bookstore props for placing the discounted jerseys in the back.
