Yes, everything is better when we continue to lose every ooc road game and get a high seed to the ncaa tourney and get blown out. This season will be mediocre unless q goes to point. Melo is not d1 material, bad recruit. Evans, not sure yet.

It's something we will have to accept, nothing matters to a KD team accept the Q in March. The early season play gets played down by him, but it ultimately hurts our seeding in the tourny if we are lucky to go again. I guess maybe cupcakes until December? I hate that Can't St. looks much better than us early on. I used to really get upset at a Zips BB loss, not anymore with these OOC road games, it would be a minor miracle to ever win one. On the other hand, I do marvel at the fact we expect to win every game and not that long ago, we hoped to win (Hipsher, Crawford).

I agree, yes this beats the Coleman Crawford and Dan Hipsher years, but maybe one OOC Road win, at least come close in an NCAA tourney game. I hate watching OU and Can't State come up with big wins and we get rolled by VCU, St. Mary's and the like (yes I know VCU was a bad timing issue etc..). I agree, the MAC has maybe 4 decent teams, outside of that, not so much..so lets get to the next level, beat MTSU this Saturday and then onto Hawaii to sweep it hopefully

I didn't watch it (I will tonight when I get home from work), just listened to it by the bedside at 4AM, and by 4:30 it was off. This could be a long season if this doesn't get figured out quickly. The frustration is if we had Alex how much better we'd be. Every year we seem to be missing one piece (Q last year). I hate the fact that in the Dambrot era, we cannot get a signature win. I think the closest was on the road at Ohio last year, but in order for us to take the program to another level, we have to win one of these non conference games. I hate to say it, but Can't gets it done it seems, like last night at Temple, we on the other hand would have folded. I figured a loss for this game with all of the travel, the time, etc, but not by 22. I sat in the Palace earlier in the year with the same feeling, will we ever step up and win a game that on paper we shouldn't?

How about next year we go smallish, try to employ some sort of "havoc", dare I try to steal the term? Go Q, Harney, Tree, Kretzer, new juco point guard....Going forward, love to see the recruiting look like what VCU has done, athletes who can run. I was at the palace and I posted about the energy that VCU brought. I am not kidding, their band even kicked our rear end...the whole program is focused on energy and they feed off of each other. I think the addition of tree and Harney have gotten us closer to what we need to be..a long way from the Dan Hipsher line-ups, but you can tell we are just not ready for the big time dance. Just think VCU was a play in team and went to the final four 2 years ago, have Keith try to figure out from his friend how did you do that, whats the blueprint..etc? I had to take a day off from NCAA or reading anything on the loss as I got home at 3AM and was just emotionally fried after such a beat down. I am glad that a 15 seed won yesterday to maybe take some headlines off of the worst beat down in the NCAAs this year.

Agree 100%, this team will always get you 20 wins but no marquee wins, hence we really should just focus on the MAC tourny, unless Can't or OU does well we can expect 1 team as usual from the selection committee. With our usual start we can kiss our chances good bye

Yeah, season is going to start very ugly..good experience for the two freshmen is the only bright spot. I have to think we may be cursed for such a promising year ahead after last year when we lose Diggs, and now the 3 game suspension. The at-large bid is lost as we lose to CCU and OSU early.
