As I watch UCONN and UM knock three's down from all over to advance deep into the tourny, I can't help but think about Kwan, Kretzer, and Reggie out there on the floor next year at the same time and hopefully able to stretch the D. I really would love to a 6'9" guy like Kwan be able to go inside and out; that would cause major problems in the MAC. Would love for that to be a focus next year, the three is incredibly destructive, I just hate those two teams I mentioned and they can't miss from the outside. (I hope I jinxed UM by the way by posting this)

I watched from mid court in the club seats, and I think I slowly slid lower in my chair until I as well as the Zips hit the floor. Pathetic display, although I hate to see what would have happened to us in the one and done NCAA, although I would have liked to have been there again.

absolutely, how about we start winning games against foes from these "better" conferences? Oh wait, we just lost to IPFW, out of their powerhouse conference. Build a new arena, win a NCAA game and then talk to me about moving out of the MAC. The apathy that surrounds the city of Akron sports fans, or maybe it's the love fest for OSU, will never allow a "cincinnati" type football revival. How dare you ever mock the buckeyes around NE Ohio. Start consistently winning in football and in basketball, the new arena and wins in the tourny, then we will see if we could jump conferences. Long, Long, ways away folks.

Just a side note, I would love a smaller version of that Viejas Arena, great seats everywhere there.

We can't win A game easily, let alone a tournament

Last time we were in a lesser tourney like this was a disaster at home if I recall in front of like 1000 people. I see a one and done, hope the team with no heart proves me wrong. BTW, what happened to Kwan, he went MIA late in the season.

How does this make me feel better? Zips should have walked away from wmu, and seems to me faired well against Toledo. Poor coaching, poor shooting, and poor officials have us at home for the post season
