  1. They're pretty quick.Goodbye #57Hello #65http://www.neworleanssaints.com/playerbio.cfm?playerid=446
  2. Does anyone know if the Pro-Day this Friday is open to the public?
  3. Had a chance to talk with Andy Alleman today, and his results are as follows...(www.nfl.com)- 5th overall offensive lineman in the country in the broad jump, and the 1st overall guard at 8'10"- 6th overall offensive lineman in the country in the vertical jump, and the 3rd overall guard at 30"- 6th overall offensive lineman in the country in the 40-yard dash, and the 3rd overall guard at 5.07 ETHe was officially 6'4" 305 and said he did very well in the o-line drills, he also said he would be RE-DOING his bench press (planning on 30-35), pro agility (planning on 4.5-), and 3-cone (planning on 7.5-), at AKRON'S PRO-DAY on MARCH 9TH....According to him, he has ran those times before in the agility drills and has hit 30 before on the bench press. He met with the owners, gm's and head coaches from the:RavensVikingsFalconsPackersSteelersChargers49ersBillsChiefsCowboysApparently, you get a chance to be invited by the various teams to meet with them for 15 minutes. Good Luck at pro-day Andy!!
  4. Alleman got 27 reps not 24

Another highly rated guard, Alleman came into the season with a fifth round grade but has moved into the draft's FIRST DAY."ESPN Mel Kiper's big board (1-11-07)http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/insider/col..._mel&id=2727526Offensive Guards1. ANDY ALLEMAN, AkronESPN Profile - Andy Allemanhttp://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/...&draftyear=2007"Alleman's stock is soaring right now and it wouldn't be surprising if he's off the board by the end of the FIRST DAY."
  6. A suitable simile.....He looks like a chocolate-covered gummy bearRumor has it. Crouch got invited to the Combine also......I could be wrong.
  7. Rasor on the ZipsFootballAndy Alleman said he didn't get anything really cool for Christmas. It was the day after when he received an invitation to the NFL Combine in the mail. The event, Feb. 21 through 27, includes about 10 players at each position most likely to be drafted. If you remember, Domenik Hixon was not invited last year, but the Broncos still drafted him in the fourth round.Alleman might have even higher potential. NFLDraftScout.com lists him as a third or fourth rounder and the fourth-best guard in the draft. The site also says his stock is rising. If you haven't noticed, the Cleveland Browns could really use two guards. They will probably go through free agency for one, the draft for the other. You might see Alleman follow Charlie Frye north on I-77."It would be nice to go there," Alleman said. "Believe me."
  8. No comments anyone?
  9. Just checked out Alleman's facebook profile...Hot Prospects Rising up Boards (11-16-06)http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=87&p=2&c=591643"Andy Alleman is not a household name but NFL scouts are very keen on the Akron blocker. Another highly rated guard, Alleman came into the season with a fifth round grade but has moved into the draft's first day." (first day is rounds 1-3)Rated as the 9th best guard in the country (11-28-06) (stock on the rise)http://www.nfldraftscout.comRated as the 6th best guard in the countryhttp://www.insidetheleague.comRated as the 10th best guard in the countryhttp://www.draftdaddy.comRated as the 9th best guard in the countryhttp://www.couchscout.com/7og.htmKeep an eye on: Andy Alleman of Akronhttp://www.draftnotebook.com/prospect_ratings.htm2007 Hula Bowl Invitee2007 Las Vegas All-American Classic InviteeIt's a joke he's not first-team all-mac let alone not even mentioned. I guess he'll get his reward in April. We're lucky to even have had a player of his caliber transfer here and help us out. Go Zips!!
  10. There are very few guards in the country that have his athleticism, strength, and ability.
  11. Don't count on that, the scouts like his arm, and in that case, scouts will overlook a less than stellar college career. Remember when the Browns drafted Spergon Wynn? He was a 1-aa quarterback who didn't even complete 50% of his college passes. I don't think Luke will be drafted but he'll get a shot in camp with somebody. Alleman will probably go late 6th to early 7th based on stellar workouts. Reid is too slow and will end up in Canada. Gonzales doesn't have good size (height, he's not the 6'2 he's listed at, more like 5-10) but will get a free agent contract somewhere. Alleman will definitely go higher than the 6th or 7th round....guaranteed.
  12. Forget the record, Zips are in good shapehttp://www.ohio.com/mld/beaconjournal/15974530.htm"Indianapolis Colts General Manager Bill Polian was there, as was a scout from the Green Bay Packers. It's believed offensive guard Andy Alleman (Massillon) is certain to be drafted. Being considered are defensive linemen Kiki Gonzalez and Jermaine Reid and quarterback Luke Getsy."
  13. Also, He is on the watch list for the East/West Shrine game (#2 All-Star game in the country)
  14. Andy Alleman was invited to the Hula bowl and Las Vegas Bowl. Congratulations to him. Thought that needs some recognition.
