This is a thread we do for good luck. Say something nice about the opponent. Thanks for checking in. That's great stuff. I'll be in Madison Friday afternoon. Hope you guys stocked up on beer..the local supply will take a hit Friday night!Conversely...the 11am start time puts a real crimp on Saturday tailgating.

One glaring mistake:

Special Teams:Zips: Both the Zips punter and kicker return, and I give them an edge in this area. Kicker Iveljic was 15 of 18 on field goals a year ago. The return game is not a strength.

Zips punt and KO returners, Jones and Williams, are two of the best in the nation.

I like the idea of saying something nice about your opponent. It might be tough to do that for Can't State though! Also what was with the comment that Dayton is the best of the mid-sized Ohio cities? Dayton isn't bad, but I'd put them just above Y-town at the bottom of the list.

There is no way Dayton would be on top of this list. In fact it IS interesting that Akron is one of the few Ohio cities NOT on a recent list of "fastest dying cities" (see link below).Link
