zen
great shot. Love it!... but uh.... I got a question. Aren't Aroma, chopstix and Mannys a part of the properties still in contention? If so, I was under the assumption that they only blocked the dorms, and not the stadium itself. ZachTheZip
Incredible shot! In between this, the webcams, and seeing it in person, one can really get a great perspective of what we are actually dealing with here.Aren't Aroma, chopstix and Mannys a part of the properties still in contention? If so, I was under the assumption that they only blocked the dorms, and not the stadium itself. They are in contention. They are the only properties still in contention other than that house owned by the son of a board member. The house is what's blocking the dorms on Spicer, and Manny's is blocking the planned dorms on Exchange. the stadium structure fits perfectly in the space we have now. The part that looks like it would overlap would actually be a lawn area behind the dorm, separated by a fence.

I hope your client comissioned this shot and many more to come. Ahh yes, MDZip, you obviously recall the earlier posts from our returning hero. If memory serves me, they occured shortly after the Miami bank shot disaster. These initial posts from Mr. Hagen were cryptic (and even a little creepy to be honest) but I was a willing worker ant in his global struggle against basketball tournament selection injustices........then he left us just as suddenly as he had arrived. And I've been in limbo ever since, like Peter after the hypnotist keels over in Office Space. It sure is great to have you back, Mr. Hagen! Anyone with connections to the technology displayed by this image is a true asset to the entire Zipsnation. Don't be a stranger now

bigham78
great shot. Love it!... but uh.... I got a question. Aren't Aroma, chopstix and Mannys a part of the properties still in contention? If so, I was under the assumption that they only blocked the dorms, and not the stadium itself. They block no parts of the stadium. Aroma, chopstix and Mannys block are an area where dorms were going to go. You can clearly see the visitors side stands and field entrance are behind the trees between them and Aroma, chopstix and Mannys. But, it's matter of time before Manny settles with UofA.1) He can't use the real estate broker that his cousin used in his trial.2) After legal fees and court costs Joe Nemer take is 1.3 mil. That's only about 100,000 more then UofA offered Joe in the 1st place. He doesn't see a dime of the other 800,000 which means bottom line he should neogiated with UofA instead of playing hard ball.3) Manny would have to be complete moron to go to trial now, as without the Real estate broker who was speculating price. The jury will base there findings on three appraisals which from all indications are not in Manny favor. 4) I'm betting Mid October early November latest Manny will settle. bigham78
Great shot. I'm going to use this over at the ABJ blogs the next time that moron Akronite posts (if he ever does with new posting restrictions for morons like him) about being a Manny relative and claiming how construction is parked all over the Manny's parking lot everyday blocking customers.Someone care to point out any construction equipment in Manny's dump lots? That parking is in such bad shape. A small backhoe would fall through it.
bigham78
The lastest on good ole Manny care of Summit County Probate Court. Letter from mediator Lisbeth M. Bulmash to all counsel of record, scheduling mediation for Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at 9:30 A.M..Like I said earlier. Manny will settle before his Dec 2nd court date. roodog97
Thanks for the picture Mr. Hagen, but "Now listen here, you smooth-talking sonofabitch! Let me lay it on the line for you and your boss, whoever he is. Johnny Fontane will never get that movie. I don't care how many dago, wop, guinea, greaseball goombas come out of the woodwork."Jack Woltz
zen
WTF jack...anyway, guys, I can clearly see that the visitor stands don't encroach upon the property, but it doesn't look to me that there is enough room from the south-east bend to extend from the visitor section around to the south side of the stadium. Maybe it's just a trick of perspective in this shot. A more top-down angle would be better. But I was just asking, because it looks close. Maybe it's just a trick of perspective in this shot. A more top-down angle would be better. But I was just asking, because it looks close. There nothing to extend. Go back and look at the designs. The Visitors stands end where they currently are. Dorms were supposed to go other side of the tunnel you see being built next to the trees. The endzone area is totally owned by UofA. One half of the parking lot you see in the picture that touches UofA property will become part of UofA property in December. The bottom line is all of Manny toilets sit where dorms are supposed to go and is not blocking the stadium footprint. zen
You are right Big Guy. I just looked. The stadium does come down south beyond where those stands end, but not as much as I visualized in my mind. It's because the stands actually extend up to and even slightly beyond the endzones.I imagined the whole thing curving around much more broadly to the south. ditchrider1
That is the coolest thing I have seen yet. They should have the blimp take some pics every week and upload them somehwere to document the progress at another angle. I always see that thing floating around.

It's because the stands actually extend up to and even slightly beyond the endzones.I imagined the whole thing curving around much more broadly to the south. Also the shot is not showing there more room between that tunnel and those trees. If, you look in Cam shots you'll notice just how much room there is where the last part of the stadium property will fit. It's all moot as Manny's properties will be in UofA hands no later the first of next year. He'll either settle through the mediator or take his chances going to court without the real estate broker making speculation claims on the future value on his properties.Like I said earlier. Judge Spicer has already ruled that the appraisals only will be used in Manny's trail and no real estate broker who was unlicense to make appraisals this time around. That's why both sides have agreed to mediation. Something Manny and his attorneys had refuse until this point.
