johnnyzip84
TE Brian Slack of Hoban has given a solid verbal to the Sweaters. In a quick search, I could not find where UA had any interest in him (at least not on Rivals or Scout etc.). I hope he's not one of these local kids that comes back to haunt the Zips.Sporting News Link

And as mentioned on other threads, he'd no doubt touch the rock LESS here than here than he does at 'Cuse. While there hasn't recently been a plethora of local guys who have been overlooked (Andrew Wellock, Erique Dozier and Tm Hiller come to mind), I am simply curious if anyone knows if UA had any interest in him at all. I would think the Flemings would have a pretty good idea of his ability (and limitations), and perhaps this might explain the Zips apparent lack of interest. UADavid
For some reason UA tries to not use the te, quite successfully I might add, so it would not be in his best interest to consider us.

We've used our TE plenty this year. His catch total is low because he drops 50% of whatever hits his hands.

We continue to throw to Bruce with much more mixed resuls. I'll agree to disagree with you on this point.
