TE Brian Slack of Hoban has given a solid verbal to the Sweaters. In a quick search, I could not find where UA had any interest in him (at least not on Rivals or Scout etc.). I hope he's not one of these local kids that comes back to haunt the Zips.Sporting News Link

I'll grant you, Cap'n, it is undeniable that Delone's decision worked out pretty well for the Zips but not so well for him. And as mentioned on other threads, he'd no doubt touch the rock LESS here than here than he does at 'Cuse.While there hasn't recently been a plethora of local guys who have been overlooked (Andrew Wellock, Erique Dozier and Tm Hiller come to mind), I am simply curious if anyone knows if UA had any interest in him at all. I would think the Flemings would have a pretty good idea of his ability (and limitations), and perhaps this might explain the Zips apparent lack of interest.

Yes he has had multiple drops, but to say we use the te plenty is wrong from a historic perspective, during JD's tenure, as well as this year . We continue to throw to Bruce with much more mixed resuls. I'll agree to disagree with you on this point.
