Guest RecruitingZip Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Ely quarterback Carlton Jackson Jr. turned down a mid-week visit to Utah, and Kansas State canceled his official visit there this weekend after landing another recruit it coveted, Jackson said. While McGee and others chose to take one final visit before National Signing Day, Jackson opted to stay home and will decide between Akron and Tennessee State. "It's exciting, but then again it's getting to be a little aggravating," Jackson said. "This week has been a really complicated week trying to decide if I'm even going to take a visit." http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-rec...ports-headlines Quote
Zip Watcher Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Knocking on wood here, but it would appear the Zips may win out on Jackson. UA is far upstream of Tennessee State, is it not? Is TSU in the OVC (1AA?)? Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 If, after watching the Senior Bowl this week, Carlton decides to attend Tennessee State, then he isn't what the Zips need at QB anyhow. I hope he comes to Akron. He seems like a great player. Quote
