zip81 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 An article in a Lexington, KY newspaper quotes a Kentucky athletic administrator saying Akron and Temple left them in a tough spot, pulling out of a contracted game at the last minute. So KY had to schedule Western KY instead.I know Kentucky was suppose to be the first game at "The Info" but I forget the reason why the contract was broken. Was it really our fault?Did the uneven schedule with the addition of Temple have anything to do with it?Linky Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Was it really our fault?YesDid the uneven schedule with the addition of Temple have anything to do with it?YesWisconsin or Ken.tucky had to go. Wisconsin increased their payout so we went to Madison and stiffed the Wildcats. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 I don't care how much Wisconsin was paying us, I still would rather have had Kentucky as our stadium opener. Quote
UADavid Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Didn't the MAC have a hand in screwing this up? Quote
