Must be an insider to read the link. I did like Dambrot's quote about needing the new guys and roll players to step up. Basically, if one new guy forces his way in to the rotation the Zips will be OK, two and they're good, three and they'll be very good. Sounds like one of the more well written previews to me. Seems like all the MAC's previews are pretty well written.http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/insider/news/story?id=3629347

Most message boards I'm on frown on cut and pastes of premium articles. Don't want to do anyhting to cause those who run the board any grief. If I get the OK from a Mod, I have no problem posting it.

There are some interesting things in the article. Dambrot mentions that this is the quickest team he has had here. He said the Zips will play a more up-tempo, full-court style of play. Also, that they will play small often. Sounds like this could be an exciting team, but they will have to grow up fast.

That's the style of ball he liked to run @ St.V/M.

I saw another pre-season magazine yesterday -- Street and Smith's I think -- and they placed Akron second in the MAC East, behind #1 Miami. And guess what. They put our friends from Portage County fourth. I like that one!! :D And you know it's because :screwks:
