ksu sucks
Listen, I'm all for expanding our program's horizons and everything. But Cornellius Carradine? He's a stinking four star DL whos already gotten offers from Cincinatti, Wisky, and Illinois.http://akron.scout.com/a.z?s=333&p=8&a...amp;nid=3608645His Prof^^^Are Brookhart and company being a bit too agressive in their recruiting? Captain Kangaroo
Nate Robinson was the top rated DL in the NATION his HS senior year. Ryan Bain was a 4 star DL his senior year. It never hurts to build a relationship with an upper-tier HS senior. You never know when their primary choice doesn't work out and they might decide to transfer.Note - I'm not saying Robinson or Bain have been difference-makers at UA. Only that they were 4-star, elite DL recruits that have been, or are on the Zips' roster. Dale Martin is another 4-star (RB) presently on the roster. If JD didn't think there was some sort of chance he wouldn't have done it.
ZachTheZip
You can't improve as a team if you don't go after top players.
Beanie 4 Heisman
Just because a recruiting site doesnt say we didnt offer someone doesnt mean anything. We offer so many seniors in upwards of 400. We are the first to offer many high school seniors, many of which dont come here. Mid Major have to offer so many people based on the talent they want, think they can get, and can get.
ZachTheZip
Man. Remember when we thought we had a shot at this guy? 5* Defensive End, chose the JUCo route over becoming a Prop 48 at Akron.
Buckzip
Man. Remember when we thought we had a shot at this guy? 5* Defensive End, chose the JUCo route over becoming a Prop 48 at Akron. He's going to FSU. Kid is a real piece of work. He supposedly scheduled a visit to one school, received the plane ticket and then used that ticket to fly home instead of visiting the school he was supposed to go to. Some may find that funny, but it shows a real lack of character IMHO.
