Zips fan
I laughed when reading the final line of the article. The suckeyes gave us our toughest game of the season? Let's go Zips! Time to beat them again!
GoZips88
If the Suckeyes bring a busload or two of fans (as mentioned in the article), do a large group of Rowdies stay behind the Akron goal in the second half to keep Suckeye fans from messing with Bush? I've never attended an Akron soccer match where the visitors bring a large group of fans with them. Just wondering.

Their goalie is what stands between us and winning. Bush can handle himself...

Time to beat them again! The real irony of this quote from the OSU site is the fact that is exactly the kind of language you'd see at our site after playing OSU in football like last year. We gave them a tough game. That is the kind of language that is used to give yourself some hope. Kind of cool to see it turned around our way. How about packing the Bucknuts bus with Zips. lol! :DCongratulations to Sigi Schmidt's Crew for bringing the title back to Columbus, something the other pro teams in town have been unable to do -- meaning you Scarlet. Chain off behind the goal an the sideline of the other side with a sign that says ROWDIE SEATING ONLY. Then it works out for us. Just like we have 2 seating sections in basketball we have 2 in soccer.

ZipAlumn
You have to admire the commitment Coach Bluem has to team discipline to suspend six players in an NCAA Tournament match for "violation of team rules". This is type of coach that seems to wants to have his team win the "right way", but realistically there is not the pressure on a Soccer coach that is place on a high power Football or Basketball coach. johnnyzip84
I can't wait to be there to support the Zips! I am bringing a few friends along and we plan to counter any red and silver hooliganism we observe BTW, the ZN site seems to be running a little slow for me today. I hope uakronkid's embedded videos haven't brought the server to it's knees!

I guess this shows the depth that a big school can manage to put together.I am glad to see the matchup with OSU, though. Advancing in the NCAA tournament is good, advancing by beating OSU is better.
